Jishou University Museum opens its doors to Hunan's rich cultural heritage

A new cultural landmark has opened in the Wuling Mountain area of Hunan province.
Jishou University Museum in Jishou is now open to the public for free. Spanning 7,000 square meters, it integrates cultural resources across the university, including the Shen Congwen Memorial, Huang Yongyu Art Museum, Xiangxi Ethnic Culture Museum, and Liye Qin Slips Research Institute.
From Qin Dynasty (221–206 BC) bamboo and wooden slips and ethnic heritage to literature and art, the museum offers a window into the region’s rich cultural history.
