All 25 buildings of the construction project of Inspur's northwest headquarters, located in Xi'an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone, have been topped out and are expected to be put into operation in the first half of 2027.

The project has already accumulated nearly 980 million yuan ($146.1 million) of its total investment of 1.2 billion yuan. Covering about 104mu(6.93 hectares), it has a total construction area of about 308,700 square meters. Serving as Inspur's headquarters in Shaanxi province and the northwest region, it will house an R&D center, an operations center, and a Silk Road center.

The R&D center will host facilities for Inspur's AI servers and information technology application innovation products, as well as hubs for new infrastructure sectors, including intelligent computing, 5G communications, and industrial internet.

The operations center will serve Northwest China, enabling localized sales, delivery, settlement, operations, and management of all business lines across the region.

The Silk Road center will see Inspur, along with foreign-invested companies such as IBM, Cisco, and Odo, set up a Northwest regional entity in Xi'an to conduct R&D and sales for businesses targeting countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

Upon completion, the project will add new impetus to the development of "Smart Xi'an" and generate nearly 5,000 jobs, boosting the innovative growth of Xi'an's cloud computing, big data, and smart city industries.
