Shenzhen exhibition explores Pan Yuliang's life and art

The iconic female artist Pan Yuliang (1895-1977), a pioneering figure in modern Chinese art, takes center stage at the Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning in Shenzhen, Guangdong province. Featuring 90 original works in oil, ink, line drawing and printmaking, the exhibition traces her journey from Shanghai to Paris and Rome, exploring her distinctive artistic language between Chinese and Western traditions through portraits, the female body, self-image and everyday life.
