Celebrated painting draws huge crowds at Zhejiang Provincial Museum

Since Aug 22, the Song Dynasty (960-1279) copy of The Night Revels of Han Xizai, from the collection of the Palace Museum in Beijing, has been on view at the exhibition Swords into Plowshares: Wuyue Kingdom and Inheritance of Chinese Civilization at the Zhejiang Provincial Museum's Zhijiang Branch and drew huge crowds.
To give more visitors a chance to see this celebrated painting, the museum has introduced timed visits for groups of 15, with just 6 minutes per session — and even added a special Saturday night opening running until 6 am the next morning.
Dates: The painting will be on view until Sept 20
