Taicang hosts exhibition of heartwarming pet-themed art

A heartwarming art exhibition featuring adorable pets opened at the Tide Art Center in Taicang on Aug 1, marking its debut in Jiangsu province.

The exhibition brings together a diverse collection of artworks centered on the companionship between people and their beloved pets. Visitors can see cats reimagined in classic masterpieces, illustrations by South Korean artist Matsugoda depicting everyday life with cats, as well as vibrant works by US artist Ruthy Kim and Chinese artist Su Xiaoci.

Beyond the static artworks, the exhibition offers a range of immersive experiences. In Zone B, a customized 30-minute light-and-shadow animation combines the artistic styles of different artists. Zone C features 100 specially designed stamps, inviting visitors to interact with the exhibition and create their own memorable check-in experience.

With its playful artworks, colorful visuals and interactive installations, the exhibition provides visitors with a relaxing space to unwind and enjoy the warmth and joy inspired by pets and art.

The exhibition will run through Oct 31.
