Taicang Alps Snow Live heats up summer tourism

Taicang Alps Snow Live has seen strong visitor traffic since the beginning of the year, welcoming more than 350,000 visitors to date, significantly exceeding initial expectations.

As one of the largest indoor ski resorts in the Yangtze River Delta, the snow world features five ski slopes meeting international standards, including a longest run of 280 meters. Its artificial snow is designed to closely resemble natural snow, offering visitors a year-round winter sports experience.

This summer, Taicang Alps Snow Live has expanded its appeal by combining sporting events, festivals, pet-friendly activities and the night economy to create an all-day leisure experience. The resort hosted events such as the Snow Splash Festival and the Snow Mountain Beer Festival, while organizing two to three pet-themed activities every month.

Nighttime activities launched during the summer holiday have further complemented the daytime snow experience, while the extended operating hours have helped channel visitors toward related businesses such as dining and accommodation.

The core appeal of Taicang Alps International Resort lies in its distinctive integration of snow sports and vacation experiences. Guests can walk directly from the lobby of the Club Med Urban Oasis Taicang Hotel to the snow park, and return to the hotel for a break immediately after skiing.

Visitor numbers at the resort are expected to exceed 200,000 during this summer holiday.
