'2026 Shanghai Summer' spotlight immersive riverside experiences

Spanning four months, the summer carnival features a diverse lineup of activities. Tour de France Night runs till July 12, offering an immersive race viewing experience. A 39-day open-air film gala kicked off on July 2 at the Gate M West Bund Dream Center, alongside the launch of Disney’s Mickey & friends dream travel themed pop-up. Meanwhile, Metro City launched its summer campaign, headlined by the global debut of the Chinese animation immersive park gathering four top-tier domestic animation IPs. The Rosydoedian Hotdog themed exhibition premiered on July 3 at Neo Young 6 shopping mall and will run through Oct 7.
