The 2026 Inner Mongolia Tourism Development Conference will be held in Ordos city, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, from July 10 to 11.
The conference will feature a main session and tourism route inspections, as well as a range of cultural and tourism activities. These will include cultural performance showcases, a special food exhibition, displays of intangible cultural heritage and creative cultural products, tourism project matchmaking events, and a procurement event for autumn and winter tourism products.
The event will bring together experts and scholars in the cultural and tourism sectors, as well as representatives of key tourism enterprises, financial and investment institutions, travel agencies, and tourism organizations from major domestic markets and countries including South Korea, Russia, and Mongolia.
Government officials and cultural tourism authorities from across Inner Mongolia, as well as media representatives, will also attend.
The event will be hosted by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Government and co-organized by the Inner Mongolia Department of Culture and Tourism and the Ordos government.
It aims to utilize the region's rich cultural and tourism resources, enhance tourism services, and foster cooperation to help build Inner Mongolia into a renowned all-season tourism destination for visitors from China and abroad.
