"Solo", a major exhibition of works by the Italian still life painter Giorgio Morandi (1890-1964), opened at Museum of Art Pudong today, featuring more than 200 pieces including 140 original artworks of the Italian master. The show, running until Oct 28, offers a rare journey into the perfect and solitary universe of Morandi, a true "unicorn" of art belonging to no school.
