At the ICH market's craft area, traditional creations like Shanxi embroidery and paper cutting are on display, while artisans demonstrate their skills live. The food zone offers a variety of Shanxi delicacies, with trendy snacks popular among young people.
Meanwhile, the ICH workshops offer hands-on experiences, where ICH inheritors teach skills like plant dyeing and fabric collage. To welcome the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival, activities such as colorful rope weaving and lucky zongzi making allow visitors to experience traditional customs firsthand.

"Shanxi is rich in ICH resources, boasting 182 national-level and over a thousand provincial-level ICH projects," said a Shanxi Provincial Culture and Tourism Department official. "This event breaks away from traditional performance modes, integrating ICH into everyday life along the Fenhe River. Shanxi will continue to enrich ICH consumption scenarios and breathe new life into ancient crafts in the modern era."
