Shenxianju Scenic Area in Xianju county, Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province, was highlighted at the 41st Seoul International Travel Fair in South Korea from June 4 to 7, attracting strong interest from visitors and tourism industry participants.
Shenxianju promoted its mountain landscape and cultural tourism resources through a dedicated 54-square-meter booth at the event, which brought together exhibitors from 40 countries and regions, with 297 overseas participants.
Representatives of the scenic area introduced travel routes, local specialties, and cultural products, including Xianju waxberries and traditional lantern craftsmanship, drawing steady attention from South Korean visitors and travel professionals.
Zhejiang Shenxianju Tourism Group also held business talks with multiple tour operators covering travel routes, accommodation resources, and destination services. A separate promotional session targeting local travel agencies and media organizations was also held, during which cooperation agreements were signed with South Korean tourism partners.
South Korea remains one of Shenxianju's key inbound tourism markets, with more than 30,000 South Korean tourists visiting annually. The destination has also hosted a China–South Korea mountaineering event for over a decade, and plans to continue expanding its international reach through cultural and tourism exchange activities.
