Tianjin AI hardware accounts for 25% of China’s total, and its importance will only grow

Dr Christoph Schrempp, vice-chair of the European Chamber Tianjin Chapter, said that China's AI industry has reached a scale of 1.2 trillion yuan, with Tianjin accounting for about one quarter of the country's AI hardware output. He noted that universities in Tianjin are able to collaborate closely with enterprises to develop new technologies and exchange new ideas.

Held in Tianjin on May 28, the "CEO: Grow with China" roundtable gathered global business leaders to discuss the future of AI, smart industries, and advanced manufacturing.
