Several scenic spots across Shanxi province will offer discounts on May 19 for the 16th China Tourism Day, including free entry and half-price tickets.
In Changzhi, 19 scenic spots will waive their entrance fees, including popular destinations such as the Taihang Mountain Grand Canyon, Taihang Shuanglong Valley, and Changping Hot Spring Town. From majestic Taihang landscapes to ancient architecture, Changzhi invites tourists from all over to experience its unique charm.
In Ruicheng county, all A-grade scenic spots, including Yongle Palace, Shengtian Lake, and Chenghuang Temple, are free to enter, with the Yaodi Mausoleum in Linfen offering free admission to visitors with a valid ID card.
Scenic areas offering half-price tickets to all visitors include the Hukou Waterfall Tourist Area, Qiao's Family Courtyard, Beiwudang Mountain Scenic Area, Niangziguan Scenic Area, and various sites in Hunyuan county, such as Hengshan Mountain, Xuankong Temple, and Yuanjue Temple.
Most of these discounts are valid only on May 19, and additional charges apply for internal transportation, cable cars, and other services. Visitors are advised to check official channels for opening status and reservation requirements before traveling.
