Wuxi brings the heat with 3x3 basketball tournament

The 2026 Wuxi International Communication Alliance 3x3 Basketball Tournament energized Meili Ancient Town in Xinwu district, Wuxi, Jiangsu province, from May 1 to 2.

The tournament brought together eight teams, including four international squads organized by the Pioneers Public Welfare Culture Volunteer Service Center. Players hailed from diverse countries and regions, including Bangladesh, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and France.

Throughout the two-day event, both local and international athletes presented their skills with thrilling performances: fast breaks, pull-up jump shots, tenacious defense and precise long-range shooting. Despite language barriers, basketball became their universal language, with every high-five and word of encouragement creating a warm, friendly atmosphere on the court.

At the awards ceremony, Adonis Dorbor Jr from Liberia was celebrated with the Most Valuable Communicator Award, while the Pioneers Public Welfare Culture Volunteer Service Center was recognized with the Best Organization Award.
