As the May Day holiday approaches, the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC) has introduced five premium technology tourism routes: the Artificial Intelligence Route, the Sci-Tech Eco-Roaming Tour, the Low-Altitude Cultural Tourism Route, the Virtual-Reality Crossover Journey, and the Super Factory Route.

The Super Factory Route offers visitors a glimpse into real production processes by connecting sites like the Huagong Tech Laser Technology Museum and the Huagong Laser Precision Micro-Nano Intelligent Manufacturing Workshop.
The Artificial Intelligence Route covers the Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, Wuhan Artificial Intelligence Computing Center, and Wuhan Supercomputing Center, allowing tourists to interact with robots and explore the "computing brain". The Low-Altitude Cultural Tourism Route combines helicopter experiences and sky rail tours, offering panoramic views of the OVC Central Ecological Corridor from above.

OVC has increasingly become a popular tech tourism destination in China this year. The OVC Sky Rail alone welcomed 112,200 visitors in March. The Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center is a highlight of the Artificial Intelligence Route, where robots can fold clothes, make coffee, and engage in real-time conversations. Since March, the center has received over 5,000 visitors.

On March 30, nearly 20 domestic and international travel agencies conducted on-site inspections of OVC's tech tourism spots. They aim to collaborate on more routes catering to tourists of all ages.
To date, the zone's tech tourism has attracted consultations from over 100 institutions in education and tourism. In late April, a Singaporean travel agency team is also scheduled to visit for further exploration.
