The Optics Valley International Tennis Center was recently recognized as one of the top national performance venues in the Q1 2026 China Large Concert Report recently released by Idaolue Live Music, an authoritative domestic entertainment industry organization.

The number of events hosted at the Optics Valley International Tennis Center has doubled year-on-year, placing it in the top tier alongside key venues in cities like Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou.
According to the report, new first-tier cities hosted a total of 136 large concerts in the first quarter, with Wuhan ranking prominently. A total of 15 large concerts were held in the city, with the Optics Valley International Tennis Center hosting 10 of them, accounting for 66.7 percent and serving over 80,000 attendees.

As a benchmark venue in Wuhan, the center maintains a leading position in the city's performance market due to its high-frequency hosting capability, professional venue facilities, and excellent audience services. In 2025, it hosted 35 large-scale events, attracting 500,000 spectators and generating nearly 180 million yuan ($26.39 million) in ticket sales.
The booming "concert economy" effectively promotes the deep integration and collaborative growth of upstream and downstream sectors such as accommodation, dining, transportation, and cultural tourism, boosting regional consumer activity and enhancing Wuhan's economic presence and cultural soft power.
