The last solar term of spring is here – Grain Rain (gu yu) – bringing warmer days and gentle rain. Duckweed begins to sprout on water, turtledoves sing joyfully, and hoopoes perch on mulberry trees, reminding of the birth of silkworms. Fields grow busy and everything thrives as summer approaches.
