The 139th China Import and Export Fair, widely known as the Canton Fair, opened on April 15 in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, with a notable presence from Quzhou, Zhejiang province.
A record 132 companies from Quzhou are participating, showcasing their latest products at a total of 185 booths, marking an all-time high for the city.
Diverse products from these companies are grabbing the attention of global buyers. In just the first two days, intended transactions were valued at over $9 million, with over $7 million on April 16 alone.
Highlighting Quzhou's burgeoning new materials industry, companies including Zhejiang Tainuo Chemical, Quzhou Yong'an New Energy Technology, and Zhejiang Jufloron New Material Technology are showcasing a wide range of products, from refrigerants for vehicles and appliances to AI cooling fluids and welding gases, providing ample choices for international buyers.
In the bustling home appliance section, Zhejiang Xuecun Refrigeration Equipment from Quzhou stood out. The company debuted at the Canton Fair in October 2023. It has rapidly expanded in recent years, exporting over 90 million yuan ($13.18 million) last year to regions such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Central Asia, and Africa.
"With offices and warehouses in 26 countries, we're expanding traditional trade channels and developing overseas distributors," said Zhu Jide, marketing head of Zhejiang Xuecun Refrigeration Equipment. "Our diversified product line meets varied market demands, allowing us to secure more international orders."
