Mongolian study tour group explores Chinese modernization in Datong

The "Mongolian Students Explore Chinese Modernization" study tour group visited Datong city in Shanxi province from April 7 to 9. The visit aimed to foster exchange and mutual understanding between Chinese and Mongolian youth by allowing them to experience Chinese modernization.

The group comprised 100 Mongolian high school students, teachers, and officials. During their stay in Datong, they visited key sites, including the Yungang Grottoes, the Datong Museum, Datong Ancient City, CRRC Datong Co, and Datong Light Aircraft Manufacturing Co.

At each location, participants engaged in immersive on-site explorations, cultural activities, and technology demonstrations. These activities provided a comprehensive understanding of Datong's rich historical and cultural heritage, rapidly developing industrial clusters, and notable achievements in technological innovation, all of which contribute to China's modernization efforts.

The diverse and rewarding experiences left a lasting impression on the Mongolian students, who emphasized the importance of such exchanges in deepening mutual understanding and friendship. They expressed hopes for more opportunities to strengthen collaboration and further contribute to the friendly ties between China and Mongolia.
