The tournament's final stage, held during the Sripatum Esports Festival 2026, followed a qualifying phase that began in China in December 2025. The Chinese preliminary rounds involved 1,100 participants from 223 university teams. Two finalists, FZSTVC's FLM team and XMU's TKBU team, traveled to Bangkok for the championship.

The Thailand-based finals featured 64 local teams and over 600 participants. The Thai team Thereaper won the championship, while China's TKBU secured second place. Santi Lorthong, president of the Thailand E-Sports Federation, attended the event, noting that the competition creates professional career paths and serves as a connection for youth from both countries.

The event highlighted growing cooperation between vocational institutions in China and Thailand. Esports, as a widely shared competitive medium, enables cross-border interaction through a unified operational framework. Fujian plans to expand its international esports programs, linking vocational training with cultural and industrial exchange between China and Thailand.
