The Similarities and Differences: Life of Seoul Citizens exhibition is now open at the Shanghai History Museum. Inside the gallery, a traditional Shikumen doorway stands alongside a hanok entrance, instantly sparking a visual conversation between Shanghai and Seoul.
Featuring 200 artifacts and models from Seoul, the exhibition traces the evolution of the city's urban living from traditional hanok homes to modern high-rise apartments, revealing both common rhythms and unique lifestyles of city dwellers.
