Jiangshan, a county-level city in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, has witnessed a significant boost in its honey product exports.

According to the Jiangshan office of Quzhou Customs, the city exported honey products worth 11.27 million yuan ($1.63 million) in the first two months of this year, marking a 40.7 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

For over 30 years, Jiangshan has led the nation's districts, counties, and county-level cities in the scale and economic benefits of its beekeeping industry.

The county-level city consistently ranks among the top in Zhejiang for honey product exports, with royal jelly exports leading the nation for several consecutive years.

To better support Jiangshan's honey product exports, Quzhou Customs has actively engaged with local enterprises and beekeepers to enhance their quality and safety management systems. This involves stringent oversight of the entire production chain, from farming management to raw material inspection and processing, ensuring compliance with international standards.

In response to stringent export standards, Quzhou Customs has implemented technical trade measures to guide enterprises in risk monitoring. A reservation-based clearance mechanism, including a "green channel" for exports, has significantly enhanced customs clearance efficiency.
