Xi'an holds China-Kazakhstan trade conference

The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shaanxi Sub-Council held the China (Shaanxi) – Kazakhstan (Ulytau Region) Economic and Trade Cooperation Matchmaking Conference in Xi'an on March 27 to further consolidate and expand the achievements of the China-Central Asia Summit related to Shaanxi province.

Relevant officials from Ulytau Region delivered special presentations at the conference on local investment policies, key industries, and cooperation projects, demonstrating the region's resource endowments, geographical advantages, and development potential. Shaanxi representatives and Kazakh enterprises exchanged views on their development needs and cooperation aspirations, laying a solid foundation for follow-up cooperation.

Enterprises from both sides engaged in focused, industry-specific discussions and held in-depth negotiations in areas such as logistics and transportation, food import and export, and power equipment manufacturing. The governor of Ulytau Region held G2B talks with participating Shaanxi enterprises to align development needs with local industrial planning.

The conference has built an efficient platform for business exchange, promoting resource sharing and deeper market connectivity. Going forward, the Shaanxi sub-council will provide dedicated support services for Chinese and Kazakh enterprises and continue to develop Shaanxi into a key base for westward opening-up.
