Chongqing tea farmers harvest spring tea in eco-friendly gardens

Statistics show that the district's newly developed tea base has reached over 133 hectares. The broader summer and autumn tea production demonstration base spans more than 1,000 hectares across 10 local towns.

The two established production lines for summer and autumn tea can process over 20,000 kilograms of fresh tea leaves daily, producing 900 metric tons of tea annually with a total output value exceeding 18 million yuan ($2.6 million).

Local authorities are also working with tea experts from Southwest University on projects to improve tea processing and quality, utilizing technology to help the tea industry grow.
