Tai'an recently hosted a cultural tourism promotion event at Yonsei University in Seoul, as part of Shandong's activities promoting inbound tourism at South Korean universities.

The event highlighted Tai'an tourism through promotional videos, presentations, intangible cultural heritage displays, creative cultural products, lucky draws, and a travel vlogger sharing session, aimed at capturing the interest of young Korean travelers.

The event attracted a wide audience, including representatives from South Korean universities, tourism agencies, media outlets, and China-Korea friendship organizations. Highlights included the rime ice of Taishan Mountain, the Dawenkou Site Museum, and local specialties such as Taishan tea and Feicheng peaches.

A special feature was the introduction of the exoskeleton hiking assist robot on Taishan Mountain, which aligns with the South Korean enthusiasm for hiking and offers a unique health and technology travel experience.

A journalist from The Korea Herald mentioned, "Through this exhibition, I've gained a deeper understanding of Taishan Mountain's special role in Chinese traditional culture. The cultural products around the mountain and the scenic area's facilities are very international, both interesting and convenient. Even globally recognized tourist destinations could learn from this."

A local instructor from the Confucius Institute at Yonsei University was excited to learn about the robotic assistance: "I often see Chinese robots on social media. It's amazing to know that Taishan Mountain offers such technology. I hope to try 'tech-hiking' when I visit!"

At the Tai'an cultural tourism booth, visitors looked through multilingual travel guides, Taishan Mountain trail maps, and creative cultural items like coaster sets and intangible cultural heritage letter papers. The display brought in university students eager to explore Tai'an's unique charm and modern offerings.
