During the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-30), Shanxi province aims to cultivate and develop 150 new "Shanxi Premium Brands". This initiative is set to enhance and upgrade regional public brands, injecting robust momentum into the province's high-quality development.
During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), the Shanxi Public Brand Construction Federation refined full-chain management mechanisms, focusing on brand cultivation and standardized operational management.
The federation successfully developed 200 "Shanxi Premium Brands" across high-end manufacturing, specialty agriculture, and modern services, creating a well-structured and distinctive brand system. In 2025, the "Shanxi Premium Brands" initiative was recognized as one of five exemplary provincial cases of national regional public brands.
As the 15th Five-Year Plan begins, the federation will prioritize evaluating approximately 30 new "Shanxi Premium Brands" and reassessing projects certified in 2022. Efforts will include standardizing the use of the "Shanxi Premium Brands" label and advancing standardization enhancement projects.
In collaboration with Peking University and the Shanxi Federation of Trade Unions, the federation will offer specialized training to address corporate talent shortages and develop professionals in modern management and digital marketing. Additionally, a brand database will be established to conduct regional brand research, continually enhancing the influence of "Shanxi Premium Brands".
