The Xi'an Railway Station Belt and Road Cross-Border Commodity Trading Center project, a comprehensive landmark in Xi'an integrating cultural exhibitions, commercial trade, and international exchange, is scheduled to be put into operation in the first quarter of 2027.

Located on the east side of the North Square of Xi'an Railway Station, the project covers a total construction area of about 50,000 square meters. This includes a culture hall for countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), a commodity exhibition and cross-border trade service center, and an international conference center.

The project has now entered the first fire safety acceptance phase for the main structure, with approval expected soon and construction set to commence by the end of May. Trial operations are expected to start in the first quarter of next year, with full-scale operation planned for the second quarter of 2027.

With the BRI serving as a bond, the project will integrate the cultures of the five Central Asian countries with Xi'an's local culture. This will foreground exchanges and interactions between diverse civilizations, building the first one-stop comprehensive hub in Northwest China that deeply integrates cross-border commerce, Silk Road culture, and foreign affairs services.
