A traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) heritage studio has been established in Guilin to promote the Spleen-Yin School and improve local TCM healthcare services.

A series of inauguration events for the Spleen-Yin School heritage studio has been held, led by top national veteran TCM practitioner Professor Tang Yixin, a leading figure in the preservation of the Spleen-Yin School.

The studio opening marks a key milestone for Guilin's TCM development, with more than 200 medical practitioners, institution representatives and industry professionals gathering to witness the moment. It offers a high-end platform for TCM preservation and cross-regional medical collaboration between Sichuan and Guangxi.

Jiang Fuming, president of Guilin Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, noted the new studio will boost talent training and clinical TCM capabilities, bringing premium TCM services to local residents. Local health officials commended the initiative, adding that it will elevate regional TCM service standards and support Guilin's development into a world-class tourist destination.

During the event, Prof Tang shared the core theories and clinical value of the Spleen-Yin School, encouraging local TCM practitioners to deepen academic research. The hospital signed a cooperation agreement with Prof Tang's team for regular expert clinics, followed by the official unveiling of the heritage studio.

Prof Tang also delivered a special lecture on scientific health preservation and corrected common misconceptions in modern wellness. He and fellow expert Prof Xiong offered on-site clinical consultations after the ceremony and will provide quarterly TCM clinics at the base moving forward.

This initiative deepens TCM cooperation between Sichuan and Guangxi, fueling the high-quality development of Guilin's TCM sector and contributing to the Healthy China 2030 blueprint.
