You can touch history through the strokes of ancient inscriptions at the Wuhan Museum in Hubei province. A remarkable collection of rubbings from the Qingzhou Museum in Shandong province is now on display at the museum. From historical events and legendary figures tied to Qingzhou, to masterpieces of calligraphy and line engraving spanning from the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220) to the Tang Dynasty (618-907) – each rubbing captures the spirit of its time in stunning detail.
