Wuhan has introduced its first circular train route, offering a unique journey around the city in under two hours. Covering over 80 kilometers, the route operates four times a day and is scheduled to run until April 2.

The circular trains traverse several rail lines, freight stations, and marshaling yards, providing passengers with views of various types of trains along the way. Notably, they pass by several of Wuhan's key landmarks, making them excellent moving observation decks.
With the advancement of train technology, the slower trains of yesteryear have become rare, evoking nostalgia among those who used to ride them. "It's been years since I've been on one, and it still feels the same," said a passenger reminiscing about the past, as people crowded the windows to catch glimpses of the passing scenery.

In addition to offering a unique city tour, the circular trains provide a convenient option for commuters between Hankou and Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC). The fastest trip between Hankou Railway Station and Wuhandong Railway Station takes just 47 minutes, with tickets priced at 4 yuan ($0.6).
