Brompton CEO's consumer wisdom: Invest in quality

Will Butler-Adams, CEO of Brompton Bicycle Limited, shared his perspective on "beautiful consumerism" in an interview, emphasizing that high-quality products are worthy investments.

He expressed great affection for fine Chinese products, including pottery tea sets, silk, traditional Chinese paintings, and tea — noting that exploring Chinese tea culture is a joyful journey.

When asked about gifts, he chose silk, Chinese paintings, and tea for his family in the UK, while recommending Brompton foldable bikes, handcrafted watches, and silver pens from the UK to Chinese friends.

Notably, he later revealed that two Fire Horse Brompton bikes were gifted by the British prime minister during the latter's recent China visit, highlighting the role of quality products in bilateral exchanges.
