A new intercontinental flight connecting Jinan, Chongqing, and Paris was inaugurated on March 11, expanding Shandong province's air link with Europe.
Operated by Hainan Airlines using Boeing 787-9 aircraft, the service offers twice-weekly flights with 291 seats. Outbound flights leave Jinan on Monday and Friday evenings, pass through Chongqing, and arrive in Paris the next morning. Return flights run through Chongqing on Tuesday and Saturday.
The route strengthens Jinan's international air travel network by using the aviation resources of Shandong and Chongqing, improving the region's global connectivity. It is expected to increase tourism, promote cultural exchange, and encourage economic cooperation between China and France.
