Ordos companies selected for national IP demonstration program

Two companies from Ordos city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region have been selected for the national intellectual property (IP) demonstration enterprise cultivation program for 2025–27.

The two companies are Inner Mongolia Erdos Electric Power & Metallurgical Group Co and Inner Mongolia Blue Flame Technology & Environmental Protection Co.

With their inclusion, Ordos now has six national IP demonstration enterprises, 22 national IP advantage enterprises, and 17 IP advantage enterprises recognized at the regional level.

The national IP demonstration enterprise title is the highest honor granted to companies by the China National Intellectual Property Administration. It recognizes enterprises that excel in IP creation, utilization, management, and protection.

Selected companies are expected to demonstrate industry-leading performance in areas such as core technology patent layout, high-value patent reserves, and the commercialization of intellectual property.
