Wuhan University brings wartime stories to stage

On March 5, to mark the 128th birthday of Premier Zhou Enlai (1898-1976), Wuhan University premiered the original play Zhou Enlai on Luojia Mountain. Set during 1937-38 at the start of the full-scale War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45), the drama vividly portrays Zhou Enlai uniting students and faculty, inspiring patriotic action and leading efforts for national salvation.
