Octopus Energy CEO drives BYD in UK

Greg Jackson, founder and CEO of Octopus Energy Group, shared his love for Chinese products during an interview with China Daily website in Beijing recently, noting that the car he drives back in Britain is actually a BYD SEAL.

He praised China as a global export powerhouse and highlighted the charm of Chinese baijiu, electronics, and food. When it comes to British gifts for Chinese friends, he said he would bring Scotch whisky, Fortnum & Mason tea, and octopus plush toys.

Jackson expressed excitement about the opportunities to connect Chinese and British consumers, emphasizing that such exchanges can boost the shopping economy and deepen bilateral cultural and economic bonds.
