Zhang Dianzhuang, the Party chief of Beiyuantuan village in Qufu, has dedicated 33 years to transforming his community. In 2021, he successfully relocated all 512 households, updated the village with modern infrastructure, and increased collective income through agricultural cooperatives that cultivate honeysuckle and flowers.
Under his leadership, the village has promoted healthy values with annual awards for exemplary families and individuals. He also invested in cultural facilities, including a folklore museum, a Confucius Academy, and a library, which have become vital for enriching the lives of villagers. Initiatives like subsidized canteens, welfare funds, and a credit point system encourage participation in community services, weaving virtue and trust into daily life.
