Lantern Festival shines with reunion, light and shared joy

Like Christmas, the Lantern Festival is a celebration of reunion.

Families come together to share yuanxiao–sweet glutinous rice balls whose round shape symbolizes wholeness and togetherness. Lanterns light up the streets, dragon and lion dances energize the night, fireworks bloom overhead, and solving lantern riddles adds extra festive delight.
