Apricot Flower About Silk Road Qiuci, a grand stage production, made its debut in Beijing with two shows on Feb 28 and March 1, blending storytelling, music and dance, and pulling audiences into the world of ancient Kuqa.

More than 1,000 years ago, Buddhism was introduced to the western part of China from ancient India, with the earliest Buddhism being born in the Qiuci region of Aksu in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. Kuqa, known as Qiuci in ancient times, evokes an image of the mysterious and enchanting western regions of China.
