The fifth session of the 15th Xi'an Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) concluded on March 1 in Xi'an.
Wang Jide, chairman of the Xi'an municipal committee of the CPPCC, presided over the session. Officials from relevant departments of the municipal Party committee attended the session.
All members engaged in in-depth discussions on the government work report and the draft outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan. They put forward active suggestions and proposals, built a broad consensus, and achieved fruitful results.
Wang said the committee will focus on the city's key tasks, including industrial development, scientific and technological innovation, and urban transformation, enhancing the quality and efficiency of consultation, and injecting strong momentum for Xi'an's high-quality development.
He also called on all committee members to unite as one and make greater contributions to securing a good start to the 15th Five-Year Plan period and strive to break new ground in Xi'an's practice of Chinese-style modernization.
