First 51 AI-driven OPCs settle in Jinan

Jinan has welcomed its first 51 One-Person Companies (OPCs), marking a new milestone in the city's becoming a national hub for artificial intelligence (AI) and digital innovation.

These new enterprises represent a business model where a single founder uses advanced AI tools to manage operations typically handled by larger teams. The companies operate in emerging sectors such as AI-generated content, intelligent agent services, and holographic smart terminals.

To support this model, Jinan has set up 12 specialized OPC communities throughout the city, shifting from the traditional single-park model. These communities offer a comprehensive support system for policy, high-performance infrastructure, open data resources, and streamlined access to funding and business services.

Looking ahead, the city plans to incubate more than 1,000 digital intelligence OPC teams, further strengthening its position as a center for AI-driven innovation.
