Tiaohua is a dance tradition of the Miao ethnic group in Yanglu Slope, Anshun, Southwest China's Guizhou province.
During the first month of the Chinese calendar, the community gathers to dance around a tall, elaborately decorated tree. This celebration serves as a cultural centerpiece for young men and women, offering an opportunity for rhythmic expression of courtship and romantic connection.
