To meet the increased demand, the airport expanded to major domestic destinations such as Chongqing, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Haikou, and Sanya, catering to travelers seeking winter sports, family vacations, and warm locations. International routes to Seoul, Singapore, and Bangkok also saw high demand, indicating a growing trend in cross-border travel.
In response to the increased traffic, the airport adjusted operations to boost efficiency. Streamlined coordination at check-in counters and security checks allowed smoother passenger flow during busy periods.
Passenger experience was further improved through specialized services. Priority assistance was offered for elderly travelers, families received adjacent seating, and dedicated counters facilitated smoother check-ins for pet owners.
Additionally, ground transportation was optimized by coordinating with local rail and road networks to ensure seamless connectivity between the airport and the city center throughout the holiday period.
