Ningbo Polytechnic University, University of Salamanca launches joint institute

Ningbo Polytechnic University has established a joint education institute with the University of Salamanca, expanding Sino-foreign cooperation in higher vocational education.

The institute, officially named the Ningbo Polytechnic University–University of Salamanca Joint Institute of Intelligent Engineering, operates as a non-independent legal entity under Ningbo Polytechnic University. It is located on the university's campus at No 388 Lushandong Road, Beilun district, Ningbo.

The joint institute offers three diploma-level majors in its initial phase: applied artificial intelligence technology, intelligent chemical manufacturing technology, and industrial robot technology. Each program will enroll 80 students per year, with a planned total enrollment of 720 students in the near term.

Students who meet graduation requirements will receive a higher vocational diploma issued by Ningbo Polytechnic University, along with an extended diploma certificate from the University of Salamanca.
