Nansha district in Guangzhou has launched the city's first outbound data transfer service window, with an inaugural ceremony held on Feb 11, marking significant progress in building a platform for cross-border data services.

It signifies a "plug-and-play" compliance service for enterprises in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and shows Nansha's efforts to advance the building of a digital port and a secure and convenient international data flow hub.

The service window aims to transform complex compliance requirements into accessible and actionable services for enterprises, providing a clear, efficient compliance pathway and reducing institutional transaction costs. It addresses the challenges businesses face in data compliance, offering a one-stop service platform covering the entire lifecycle of outbound data transfer from initial data assessment to filing and ongoing supervision.

In addition to face-to-face services, an online intelligent pre-assessment system allows businesses to submit information for preliminary compliance risk screening and receive personalized compliance guidance. This dual-mode service ensures 24/7 availability, enhancing service efficiency and convenience.
