In the early Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), artist Yun Shouping (1633-90) rose to prominence with his boneless flower painting technique – creating petals and leaves without outlines, using washes of color to let forms bloom naturally on silk or paper.

An exhibition featuring Yun Shouping's painting and artistic transcendence will open at the China Grand Canal Museum in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province. Featuring 97 exquisite masterpieces and a stunning 360-degree digital immersive panorama, the exhibition creates a deep dialogue between classical Chinese aesthetics and modern innovation.
