A folk culture event was held at Xi'an Livat in Yanta district on Feb 10, allowing residents to experience the charm of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) and celebrate Spring Festival traditions.
ICH performances, including aguqin(a plucked string Chinese musical instrument) performance, a Shaanxi Hongquan (red fist) performance, and a shadow puppetryshow, attracted many residents and tourists.
The handicraft fair was also a hit, with 14 ICH artisans showcasing their skills. Guided by the artisans, visitors experienced traditional craftsmanship and created their own festive handicrafts.
Children, parents, and elders eagerly joined the Tang poetry activities, bringing the atmosphere to an exciting peak.
The event blended ICH with Spring Festival traditions, bringing China's traditional culture closer to the people and into daily life. Yanta district will continue to refine its folk culture brand and enrich residents' spiritual and cultural lives, using cultural vitality to drive the district's high-quality development.
