The Festival Waltz 2026, a Spring Festival concert presented by the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), will be broadcast live at Baotou's convergence media center on Feb 14.
Launched in 2021, the Festival Waltz has since become a beloved Chinese New Year arts brand. The concert this year will be conducted by Lyu Jia, music and art director of the NCPA, and performed by the China NCPA Orchestra, unlocking the charm of music with professional artistic standards.
The concert's repertoire blends Chinese and Western elements, including classic melodies and Chinese ethnic specialties, and also features a choreographed fusion of music and dance.
The event has garnered widespread public attention since its announcement, with 400 people having already made reservations.
