From high-tech competition gear to specialized nutrition, a cluster of sports and fitness companies from Fujian province is powering China's national team for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.
Anta Sports is supplying professional competition and training apparel for 10 Chinese national teams across ice and snow disciplines, including short-track speed skating, figure skating, curling, bobsleigh, luge, skeleton, and multiple freestyle skiing events. The company previously outfitted China's Olympic teams at the 2022 Beijing Winter Games, where China delivered its strongest-ever Winter Olympics performance.
For the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, Anta has upgraded its equipment with two proprietary technologies. Its drag reduction system (DRS) is used for competition suits in speed disciplines such as speed skating, bobsleigh, and luge. A thermal airflow system developed for snow disciplines improves back ventilation while balancing insulation and moisture control and is used in competition apparel for snowboarding and freestyle skiing.
Panpan Foods Group, an official sponsor of the Chinese Olympic Committee, is supporting the Chinese sports contingent at China House and team support areas to provide nutritional products for athletes, while also introducing international visitors to Chinese flavors as part of the cultural showcase.
Shuhua Sports has also installed AI-enabled fitness equipment at China House, providing interactive zones for aerobic exercise, strength testing, and indoor ski simulation.
