For the first time, the UNESCO World Heritage Dazu Rock Carvings will be brought to the stage!
Centered on a young boy’s journey during the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), the production The World of the Dazu Rock Carvings weaves together the spirit of ancient craftsmen with the warmth of everyday life. With breathtaking mirror installations, sculpted light and poetic movement, the dance drama reflects compassion, humanity and timeless cultural wisdom — allowing thousand-year-old stone carvings to glow anew on the modern stage.
