Set against the famous Lanting Gathering of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (317-420), Dance of Calligraphy in 353 AD tells the legendary journey of The Preface to the Orchid Pavilion — from its creation to becoming a timeless treasure of Chinese culture that continues to inspire generations. Now entering its third national tour, the acclaimed dance drama will open in Shanghai on April 3 and 4 at the Majestic Theatre.
